In October 2019 I started building my observatory

This is based on a Pulsar 2.2 Dome

First I had to find a spot in my garden to build the observatory
I had to remove some plants to get enough clear space for the observatory

Then I started the preparation for the concrete base

Digging a large hole in the ground for the base and preparing the hole for pouring concrete

My telescope a 12 inch Meade

I picked up the Pulsar observatory when I moved my EME antenna gearbox

A PVC pipe for cabling to the telescope

After pouring the 1,6 m3 concrete

Building up the lower part of the observatory

In april 2020 I mounted my Meade 12 inch LX200 telescope inside the observatory
My first trials were in looking at Mars and the moon,
I still have to get used how the instrument is working.
